Final Progress Reports

Year:   2016  2014  2008  2005

The goal of the Administrative Core is to provide overall management of the UW SRP activities. In 2014, the UW SRP was under a no-cost extension. During this period, the Administrative Core continued to provide overall grant management, budgetary structure, and oversight to the UW SRP. The Core oversaw the organizational research planning meetings in support of the submission of the UW Superfund competing renewal in March 2014, and then a subsequent revision in September 2014. The Core director, Dr. Gallagher, also received an administrative supplement to support continued postdoctoral and pre-doctoral training during a no-cost extension, and worked with the University to ensure continuation of key administrative, research and community engagement activities. The program coordinator, Ms. Mary Saucier, provided support to Dr. Gallagher in these activities. In 2014, the Administrative Core also increased its tracking of student and postdoctoral training activities in accordance with NIH guidelines. In December 2013, Dr. Gallagher, Dr. Clement Furlong (Biomarkers of Susceptibility to Environmentally-Induced Diseases project Director), and Ms. Katie Frevert, attended the annual Superfund meeting in San Jose, CA. The Administrative Core provided funds to two trainees, Judit Marsillach (Biomarkers of Susceptibility to Environmentally-Induced Diseases project) and Chase Williams (Biotransformation Gene-Environment Interactions in Coho Salmon Neurotoxicity project), to attend the SRP meeting.
