Progress Reports

Year:   2019  2018  2017

The Training Core has started to implement the planned activities in order to add a layer of interdisciplinary training to the regular disciplinary training of graduate students and postdoctoral fellows who are part of the Superfund Research Program (SRP). The following activities have taken place since the beginning of this funding cycle: trainees have been attending the Columbia University SRP seminar series, have run the journal club, have created posts and media content for the program website and social media, and have participated in a day-long short course. Trainees have also participated in outreach activities for the general public with the Research Translation Core and Community Engagement Core, attended and presented at the NIEHS SRP annual meeting, mentored undergraduate researchers, and finally, provided feedback to improve the program.
