The NIEHS Environmental Factor newsletter released its 2024 Papers of the Year, highlighting the most impactful publications by NIEHS researchers and grant recipients. Several SRP-funded publications were featured, including:
- Natural materials can remove uranium and arsenic from water by the University of New Mexico.
- Phthalate exposures associated with high numbers of preterm birth by Northeastern University.
- Health intervention shows reduced arsenic exposures among tribes by Columbia University.
- Microbe commonly found in the environment can destroy specific PFAS by the University of California, Riverside.
- PFAS mixtures more harmful to health than exposure to a single compound, by the State University of New York at Buffalo.
