Headshots of six K.C. Donnelly externship winners

Six trainees from Superfund Research Program (SRP)-funded institutions received competitive K.C. Donnelly externships. These awards allow trainees to build their research capacity at other SRP centers or government agencies through innovative, collaborative research projects.

“We’re so proud of the work that our trainees have accomplished as a result of this cross-center collaboration,” said SRP Director Michelle Heacock, Ph.D.

2024 award recipients include: Yáu Adamu (University of Iowa), Kyla Drewry (Northeastern University), Fox Foley (Louisiana State University), Obinna Nwokonkwo (Harvard University), Brendan O’Leary (Wayne State University), and Jaron Snook (University of Rhode Island).
