Project Summary (1995-2000)

This core is designed to provide a shared environment for organics analysis along with resident expertise for student training on instrumental analysis techniques and safety. A shared facility is being established on the UC Berkeley campus where a postdoctoral chemist is setting up a gas chromatography/mass spectrometer (GCMS) system. This system is being used by Project 12 for investigation of the complex chemistry of organic mixtures.
