Project Summary (2000-2006)

The Biomarker Laboratory Core combines the resources and facilities at the School of Public Health, UC-Berkeley, the Laboratory of Molecular Epidemiology, UCSF, and Children's Hospital Oakland Research Institute. The main goal of the core is to facilitate the collection, processing, and analysis of samples for epidemiological projects using established molecular and cytogenetic methods of analysis and to assure appropriate handling, storing, banking, and testing of these specimens. These services enhance the ability of the epidemiological projects to reach their goals.
