Project Summary (1995-2000)

The goal of this study is to understand the influences of environmental contaminants, particularly PCBs, on reproduction and the mechanisms of these effects. A variety of experimental techniques have been employed including both in vitro and in vivo studies. Effects on fertilization, the oocyte and neural structures have been used to increase understanding of the reproductive impacts of PCBs.
