Project Summary (2000-2005)

The Biostatistics Core provides investigators with access to statistical and data management support, both during the design and during the analysis phases of their projects. During the design phase, the Core helps to determine appropriate size for laboratory experiments, the location and frequency of sampling for environmental studies, and the size and selection of controls for the case-control studies. This Core ensures that the necessary information is collected to maximize the benefit of the statistical analyses. Once data are collected, the Core investigators assist in both data management and data analysis.
