Progress Reports

Year:   2020

This was the first year of the University of Arizona SRP Center (UA SRC) Data Management and Analysis Core (UA DMAC). Within this funding cycle, the group launched the UA DMAC’s Olympus Web Application Server. This server houses various intuitive web applications that empower members of the UA SRC to perform their own large data analysis, as well as making publication-ready scalable vector graphics, diagrams, and figures. Olympus maintains a permanent presence in the web, allowing users to run, store, and continue their data analyses without interruption. It also functions as a portal to the Cyverse infrastructure, enabling easy access to the computational power, as well as data storage and sharing capabilities of Cyverse. Two applications, Demeter and Ares are entering beta testing phase. More applications are currently under development.
