Course Title: Infectious Diseases

Description: This course provides specific instruction in the chain of infection, laws and standards and the personal protective measures available to emergency responders for the prevention of airborne and bloodborne pathogens.

Instructor Qualifications: Certification to the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 1041, Standard for Fire Service Instructor Professional Qualifications Level I or equivalent and demonstrated ability to teach from prepared materials
