NIEHS will host the NC WoCRN 2024 Symposium, in partnership with North Carolina State University, on Wednesday July 31st, 9:00 am - 2:00 pm. The Symposium theme is "Leveraging Cultural Identity."
The NC WoCRN is a statewide network of researchers representing academia, government, and industry. First established, the NIH WoCRN was designed to address challenges faced by women and minorities entering and advancing in scientific careers. North Carolina is the second regional chapter established in 2014. The mission of the NC WoCRN is to promote career advancement by broadening participation of women researchers and scientists of color, establishing collaborations and partnerships, multi-level mentoring, outreach, and professional networking.
