Summary: The primary goal of this study is to retrieve metagenomic and metatranscriptomic sequence information from contaminated sediment samples that are undergoing reductive dehalogenation of polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs) and/or support the growth of organohalide-respiring bacteria (OHRB).This data is relevant to improving our understanding of the growth of OHRB and supporting microbial community interactions that occur in the presence of PCBs.
