The Administrative Core continues to coordinate the fiscal and scientific management of the program project. Activities of the staff and investigators related to fiscal management of grant activities are also supported by this Core. Dr. Ben Morpurgo currently monitors fiscal issues with respect to the individual projects and cores and plays a role in managing supplemental Superfund grants for the bioassay network and conferences. Dr. Morpugo provided significant input to the organization and management of the 2nd Central and Eastern European Conference on Health and the Environment in Bratislava, Slovakia in October, 2006, and is currently providing similar services for the fiscal management of the proposed 2008 conference in Istanbul. He also attended and participated at both the 2006 and 2007 annual Superfund Symposia in San Diego and Durham, respectively. Mrs. Anna Kjolen provides invaluable service on preparing reports, organizing meetings of PIs and interactions with the External Advisory Board.
