The goal of the Genetic Analysis Core is to conduct all nucleic acid based assays required for the biomedical research projects and to determine and characterize polymorphisms.

The Genetic Analysis Core carried out genotyping and real-time PCR and supported oligonucleotide synthesis, DNA sequencing and microarray measurements.  The buccal cell card protocol verified by the Core was used for collecting DNA from mothers/infants for the WTC supplement.  Members of the Core have a novel high-throughput molecular haplotyping technology.
