Final Progress Reports

Year:   2016  2009  2004

The primary goal of the Training Core is to train Ph.D. candidates in the biological, chemical, and molecular sciences as they relate to environmental toxicology, with an emphasis in health, detection, and remediation. The goal is to recruit students with an interest in molecular toxicology and prepare them for interdisciplinary careers in Environmental Health Sciences. Training occurs in the Superfund laboratories of participating faculty, as well as in cooperation with the Community Outreach Core and the Research Translation Core. Thus, the Training Core’s impact on the overall program is both to support students who work on the Superfund research projects and to train the future leaders of Environmental Health Science research.
