Final Progress Reports
Year: 2019 2012
Chemical screening was provided to Oregon State University SRP Center investigators. There were 3,588 analytical tests performed on 2,372 samples in 2019, along with another additional 446 quality control samples paired with these efforts. Kim Anderson, Ph.D., and her team have developed 15 analytical methods for SRP investigators including a forensic method last year. The team is further adding value to the full forensic ratio method utilizing polycylcic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) including providing diagnostic source ratios and alkylated PAHs with data provide to researchers. Researchers have maintained a curated standards inventory with 240 new standards/mixtures or certified values added to the inventory. Current curated inventory of total standards, mixtures and certified reference materials is now 1,443. In addition to standards the Core maintained 1,000 low density polyethylene passive samplers and 500 wristbands passive samplers and 100 dog tag samples for human or animals all available for SRP investigator use. The Core prepared standard solutions, dosing solutions, mixtures, and quantitative solvent exchanges for SRP investigators.
