Course Title: Hazard Awareness Training (Spanish and English versions)
Type of Course: Haz. Waste Site Inspector/Awareness
Description: Curriculum includes information regarding toxic exposure at the worksite, use of protective equipment and clothing, and type of training required under the hazardous waste standard. Instruction involves visual and participatory methods, i.e., small group case studies, role playing, slides and practice recognizing information on chemical or warning labels. Minimal materials distributed.

Instructor Qualifications: Instructors should be experienced in delivering health and safety training in a participatory manner. Instructors may include industrial hygienists, health educators and hazardous waste workers with health and safety experience. All instructors should be bilingual and should have participated in a train-the-trainer course.
