Project Summary (2000-2005)

The mission of the Superfund Outreach Program for Kentucky is to build partnerships with public and private sectors. Partnering organizations include healthcare professionals, environmental and government agencies, including county government, and community action groups. Educational outreach relating to Superfund issues is increasing awareness and providing access to scientific knowledge; improving communication and network systems within the community; and promoting informed decision making by individuals, families and communities.
