Project Summary (1995-2000)

The chemical analysis core serves as a chemical analysis center for all projects in the program. It operates gas chromatographs (GCs) with various detectors, atomic absorption spectrometers (AAS), an inductively coupled mass spectrometer (ICP), and a KXRF instrument. The core develops standard operating procedures and established quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) protocols for each target compound.
