Project Summary (1995-2000)

The Dartmouth Training Core builds on the traditional strength of Dartmouth as a small, liberal arts university whose size allows more individual student mentoring and closer student faculty relationships. There are 22 full-time faculty participating in the training program across a number of diverse fields. Two special courses have been created for the program: a graduate course in metal toxicology and an interdisciplinary seminar series. In addition, a yearly faculty and student retreat/symposium is envisioned and graduate students are funded to attend one professional meeting each year.
