Project Summary (1995-2000)

The overall program is focused on human and environmental hazards from exposures to chlorinated organic constituents, including several major projects, covering endocrine, reproductive, genotoxic and metabolic effects, bioavailability, and trace analysis. The Histology Core is needed for experiments in three of the projects that involve studies of animals (fish, alligators, mice, and rats) exposed to chlorinated hydrocarbons, in order to assist in histopathological assessments of toxic effects.
