2witech Solutions LLC developed a portable device to screen for PFAS in contaminated water. Capable of detecting very low concentrations of PFAS, the analyzer quickly provides real-time information and costs less than traditional laboratory testing. 2witech Solutions is a small business funded by an SRP Small Business Innovation Research Grant.

TechnologyA portable electrochemical sensing device to quickly screen for PFAS in water. The sensor has been tested in the lab with synthetic PFAS-spiked samples and is being validated using real contaminated groundwater samples.
InnovationThe sensor combines molecular-imprinting technology and advanced electrochemical sensor development to detect a wide range of PFAS concentrations, from 1 to 200 parts per trillion. It offers a rapid response time and high selectivity of PFAS without interference.
