Funding Period: 1995 - 2001

Project Summary (1995-2000)

The Technical Resource Core provides coordination of the analytical, industrial outreach, and technology transfer components of the program at the University of Cincinnati. This core has been developed in order to promote the effectiveness of interactions within this highly interdisciplinary program. Analytical services are being organized to help provide researchers access to the best knowledge and methods available, to utilize resources in methods development for determining practical solutions to hazardous substance detoxication/degradation, and to identify/structure methods development for transfer to industry. The focus of the technology transfer component is on potential applications of these methods to current questions of environmental hazards that are presented by industry-wide problems.
