Grant Number: P42ES004917
Funding Period: 2000-2008

Project Summary (2000-2005)

The Outreach Core conducts activities in three major areas. These include technology transfer, collaborations with Regional and Federal regulators, and environmental health education to students. The goals are to assist regulators in risk management, and to provide information to community groups (with a focus on K-12 students) to support disease prevention. Researchers meet frequently with EPA Region VI and organize an annual Risk Assessment Symposium. In addition, research results are communicated through a newsletter, technical publications, and the Texas A&M SBRP Website.
