Project Summary (2000-2006)

The Outreach Core functions are: 1) to conduct an annual symposium addressing a topic in the area of health effects of chlorinated compounds, 2) to prepare and disseminate newsletters with descriptions of environmental contamination issues and recent program project research findings, 3) to conduct a series of workshops on risk assessment and risk communication for environmental and public health professionals, 4) to conduct a seminar program in toxicology and environmental health, and 5) to develop and sustain a Teacher/Research Public Health Partnership Program.
