Project Summary (1995-2000)

The specific aims of this core are to train new scientists to deal with the multidisciplinary aspects of hazardous waste problems. This program provides broad-based educational opportunities in two ways: (1) in the form of training grant stipends to promising new graduate students enrolled in an approved graduate program, with an emphasis placed on supporting entry level Ph.D. students; and (2) Research Assistantships provided by individual project directors to develop a dissertation research project.
